Mickey’s official 83rd birthday is today because today is the anniversary of Steamboat Willie. But this was his third film. Mickey starred in two others before that, Plane Crazy and Gallopin’ Gaucho.
Interestingly enough, in Gallopin’ Gaucho, Mickey played the bad boy that gets the girl in the end (Minnie). Mickey smokes a cigarette and drinks a beer. And there’s a reward out for his arrest.
